GAS-CONDENSATE FLUID PVT MODEL QUALITY CHECK BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF A SINGLE-CELL SIMULATION MODEL

The problems of gas-condensate PVT-models (Pressure Volume Temperature, PVT) creation under limited input information were analyzed. Traditional fluid phase behavior characterization approach relies on the equation state (EOS) based initial composition reservoir and its future regression for critical parameters (pressure temperature), binary interaction coefficients, acentric factors residual “plus” fraction or pseudo-components. adjustment is done until moment when EOS reproducing results laboratory experiments. Classic PVT experiments performed gas-condensates volatile oils are constant expansion (CCE), volume depletion (CVD) separator tests. However, in case most Ukrainian fields, discovered explored last century, not only reliable detailed available, but was studied with non-equilibrium method so-called differential condensation, that does allow their direct application models creation. Previously, authors [1, 2] presented an alternative fractional distillation test. At same time, due to significant uncertainty data, particularly a) condensate production allocation; b) commingled from multiple reservoirs different C5+ yield; c) non-recorded change conditions affects liquid extraction density; d) technological losses, issues during history matching several Dniper-Donetsk Basin faced. There proposed explained detail example single-cell simulation model concept quality check created one fields potential yield 86 g/m3. idea reproduction material balance through conditional well controlled a primary (gas) phase, allows quick identification changes into calculated curve, necessary production.
